MLO Thespian Dazzles in Live Theater Performance

Mu Lambda Omega member, Soror Kita Grayson, starred in the stage play, “I Go Somewhere Else” at the Atwater Village Theater which ran through January 2019. The play, written by Inda Craig-Galván, is about one daughter’s fractured memory of her troubled mother as seen through three different perspectives. Ms. Grayson gave a riveting, powerful performance in the role of Lanny at 8- and 13-years old. She coexists with her 35- and 50-year old selves that help her to navigate the intense relationship with her mother.
Mu Lambda Omega Chapter members, along with the audience, were captivated as Ms. Grayson and her cast mates told the story of an emotionally fraught mother-daughter relationship that ultimately comes full circle as both characters advance with age. The circle of life brings perspective, wisdom, and understanding.
Tea Roses to Soror Kita Grayson for an outstanding performance and best wishes to our MLO resident thespian on all of her future acting endeavors!
