MLO had our largest team yet of Pink Lady Stigma Busters at the 2017 NAMIWalks 5K in downtown Los Angeles! The AKA/NAMI Partnership has been successful in raising awareness about mental illness in the black community and helping people find help through the excellent programs at NAMI. We walked in support of our local affiliate NAMI Urban Los Angeles and surpassed our fundraising goal by $1000!
