MLO Featured in Summer 2016 Ivy Leaf Magazine

Mu Lambda Omega Chapter was featured in the Summer 2016 edition of the Ivy Leaf Magazine on page 101 highlighting our collaborative effort for the 2016 AKA/NAMI Community Impact Day.  MLO’s Health Initiative Committee and ASCEND Program joined in support of the community-wide NAMI Diversity Conference “Bridging the Cultural Divide: Beyond Evidence-Based Practice In Diverse Communities.  Health Initiative Chairman Andria Hancock-Crear and ASCEND Chairman Eleanor Wallace coordinated the participation of MLO members and ASCEND Scholars. In addition to providing logistical support, we also attended thought-provoking conference sessions and engaged in dialogue with conference presenters.  ASCEND Scholar Ahmanah Caslin connected with one of the keynote speakers, Dr. Cheryl Grills, PhD about her aspirations to become a psychologist and was invited to discuss internship opportunities.

On page 20, MLO members Tiffany Saucer and Constance Ray were featured in a sisterly photo while attending the 67th Boule.  MLO in the house!
