MLO Chapter hosts 1st Annual Founders’ Day Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser

Mu Lambda Omega Chapter in collaboration with the Ivy Centennial Foundation does it again…another SOLD OUT EVENT! On January 27, 2018, the 1st Annual Founders’ Day Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser was held at Dulan’s On Crenshaw Restaurant. It was only fitting that a display commemorating the 110th anniversary of our illustrious sisterhood was prominently showcased as guests entered the restaurant. Over 500 tickets sold, the “soul food” feast complete with pancakes, eggs, grits, breakfast potatoes, bacon, sausage, coffee, tea, and orange juice. The ambiance throughout was filled with lively conversations and upbeat music as community members gathered to eat, renew friendships and make new ones. Not only did Mu Lambda Omega Chapter host this fundraiser, members donned customized pink and green aprons, cooked pancakes on the grill, and served up hot food to guests…with a smile!
Mu Lambda Omega Chapter is humbled by all of the support of family, friends, and members of the Divine Nine for supporting this fundraising effort. Thank you to the Ways and Means Committee Chairman and Co-Chairman Deanette Brewer and Kelcy Taylor, respectively, and Greg Dulan and his staff of Dulan’s On Crenshaw Restaurant for partnering with Mu Lambda Omega Chapter. Net proceeds will support chapter scholarship and community program efforts.
